Artspire Fiscal SponsorshipArtspire is NYFA’s new, national sub-brand
Artspire Fiscal Sponsorship
• Created to help individual artists and artist run organizations gain access to funding
• Not a funding program• Fiscal Sponsorship enables the sponsored
artist to use the sponsoring organization’s 501(c)(3 ) charitable, tax deductible status for fundraising for a specific project
• Funding Flow– $ from Donor Fiscal Sponsor Artist

• Unlimited phone calls, emails, and review of grant proposals
• Profile on Artspire.org• Funders can donate
online• Artists can track
donations and project budget online
Artspire Fiscal Sponsorship• Application is free• Deadlines to apply: June 30, September 30, December 31,
and March 31 • Project is “vetted” by NYFA and more attractive to funders• Access to funding opportunities that are usually restricted to
501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations• Donors enjoy the tax incentives of making a charitable
donation• Check writing, financial, book keeping and tax services• Projects have a minimum budget of $15,000• If accepted Artspire charges an 8% administrative fee and
$100 contract fee
