NIMCJ Youth Club Observed Martyr’s Day By Organising Blood Donation Camp

AHMEDABAD: National Institute of Mass Communication and Journalism organised a Blood Donation Camp in its campus under the banner of NIMCJ Youth Club to observe Martyr’s day. This camp was supported by Red Cross Society and E plus Foundation.

The Camp began with a presentation of Retd.Air Marshal P.K. Desai. He talked about various social works done by trust. He also talked about how deficiency of blood can lead to life threatening diseases. He had shown a small but effective documentary on Thalessemia.

During Blood Donation Camp, almost all students of NIMCJ and students of other colleges, NCC cadets participated with great enthusiasm.

The Director of NIMCJ, Dr. Shirish Kashikar too donated blood motivating his students.
