What is Bright Futures?• The Bright Futures initiative, developed by the federal Bureau of Maternal and Child Health and implemented in collaboration with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), provides a comprehensive set of health supervision guidelines for children from birth through 21 years of age.
