Introduction
• The data collection was conducted on 14th July,2013 for the post-optimization
• The test was an optimization check
• The drive test covers New Banex-Kado Bridge, FCT, Abuja
• Drive test procedure involves two mobile stations; MS1 initiating short calls and MS2 initiating long calls.

Dropped CallNetwork Issue: Case 1
PROBLEM: Dropped call occurred on the cell 119A. OBSERVATION: The dragged HO by 1222B caused poor speech quality and the cell 1222C is overshooting. The cell 119A interfered into the area and caused call drop due to the poor qualityRECOMMENDATION: Down tilt the antenna 1222C electrically by two degrees. Change the parameter “Edge HO DL RX_LEV Threshold” value from 20 to 15. Mechanical down tilt of 119A by two degrees.

Handover Failure
PROBLEM: Intra-cell Handover failure on 5848DA
OBSERVATION: All the configured neighbours are okay and correct. See the handover parameter below in the recommendation have issues.RECOMMENDATION: Change the inter-layer HO threshold of 5848A from 28 to 10,inter-layer HO Hysteresis from 5 to 4 to improve the HO and poor speech quality

PROBLEM: Blocked call occurred on 119DAOBSERVATION: Thehas an average CSSR of 94.9%,Pcfail of 3.8%,HOSR of 95.04%.Max TA of 8.Rx lev access min of 10.Random access error threshold of 255. Congestion of 0.006%.No alarmRECOMMENDATION: Reduce MaxTA from 8 to 5 and down tilted the antenna of the cell by two degrees mechanically.

PROBLEM: Poor speech quality OBSERVATION: The poor quality of speech occurred due to the delayed handover and the overshooting status of 1222C RECOMMENDATION: See the recommendations for the case 1 of the network issue analysis for Dropped Call.

PROBLEM: Poor speech quality OBSERVATION: The cell FC0131D is overshooting. MaxTA is 8 which is still okay considering geographical location of the site. RECOMMENDATION: Down tilt the mechanical tilt of the cell FC0131D by two degrees to improve the speech quality at this area and enhance handover

CONCLUSION
The network performance is now generally better and okay along the New Banex-Kado Bridge in terms of coverage and quality
