Changes Since
The Last Briefing Added freezing rain and sleet for
northeast PA and Sullivan County,NY Wednesday morning.
Lowered snow amounts in these
areas.
Updated snowfall total map.

Summary
A snowstorm will impact all of central NY and northeast PAtonight and Wednesday.
Heaviest snow and highest impacts expected between 3
am and 10 am Wednesday, especially central NY and far
northern PA.
1 to 2 inches of snow per hour will be possible for a
few hours in the above time frame.
This could cripple travel, especially for theWednesday morning commute.
Heavier snow tapers to light to moderate snow
Wednesday afternoon and ends in the evening.
Total accumulation could range from 5 to 14 inches.
A mix of sleet and freezing rain is now looking more likely
in northeast PA/Sullivan County, NY Wednesday morning.
This will cut down on snowfall amounts in these areas.
Winds will be light.
