In order to encourage entrepreneurship, the MSME Export Promotion Council and the Foundation for Millennium Sustainable Development Goals are organising three conferences, one each, in Meghalaya on 4th November, Tripura on 8th November and Manipur on 28th November 2019. These conferences are targeted towards developing a supportive ecosystem for SC/ST enterprises and will provide
a much needed platform for the existing and emerging entrepreneurs. The conferences aim to enrich the knowledge of SC/ST entrepreneurs and enterprising women on latest developments, technology trends, quality standards and how to take benefits of the host of schemes announced by the government from time to time.
SC-STObjective :- To create awareness about the National Scheduled Caste and scheduled Tribe Hub under the NSIC so that the number of beneficiaries could multiply manifold. Once success stories are publicly publicised, many potential youngsters will come forward and become job givers rather than job seekers. Any improvement in their income will have huge impact on their families and their standard of living.
