Throughout my college career, I have constantly been a part of teams that comes together for fundraising events and projects within my community. In the past 5 years of working with H-E-B, I have seen not only what H-E-B does for the community, but how they communicate with their community and partners. I have developed a passion for working with local communities and helping their projects and organizations thrive while promoting H-E-B.
Witnessing and participating in many of these events truly motivated me to go towards a career in public relations/marketing. Working in the marketing department for the Edinburg Children’s Hospital Foundation has also helped me gain experience in this field. Seeing a community embracing their city and uniting for events and causes inspires me. I enjoy being innovative and seeing projects come through successfully. Also, graduating with a Master’s in Communication has improved my skills in public relations, campaigning and building relationships with others. Being a part of this company will continue to mold me into the professional I want to be.
