My Logos

Page 2: My logos Word version

This is the logo I designed for myself, to be used on business cards. The old-style microscope represents UX, a field that requires close examination and that is grounded in established methodology. Theorange is meant to modern, vibrant and friendly.

I designed this quickly for my proposed Elbow Room app because I applied for a summer incubator on a whim, and needed a logo for my “startup.” I started with the Futura typeface (a personal favorite), chose a tranquil, cool blue, and then spaced out the letters to give a feel of spaciousness, adding also the double chevrons for balance.

This logo was also designed under extreme time pressure while I was a member of Team Umber, competing in the NASA International Space Apps Challenge held in April 2014 at AlleyNYC. For our final presentation, we needed a logo to represent our app, Umber the Weather, which makes accessible global weather data for any date from the past 66 years, thus a globe combined with a calendar in eco-friendly blue and green.
