Open Morning RegistrationOn arrival, please register at the reception desk in the HigherEducation Café by filling in one of the blue forms. Staff will beavailable if you have any queries about completing them. Byregistering it allows us to be more efficient and speedy ingetting you to the most appropriate subject talks in the correctroom! Our reception team comprise College staff and currentstudents. They will provide any course literature that yourequire and also guide you to the welcome talk and follow-uptalks from each subject team.
It helps us greatly if you could also supply your home addressand, if you have one, your current e-mail address. We promisenot to bombard you with information or junk mail but we wouldlike to keep you informed of any new course developmentsand any special events that we host.

College Welcome TalkA 20-minute welcome and introductory talk for all visitors starts the day. This will take place at 10.30am in HigherEducation Room 2 and covers our Degree provision, our partnership with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan),academic research, excellent QAA report, work experience and career progression.
Student Services Admissions, Learning Support and Finance
As well as course tutors from the varioussubject teaching areas, you can also speakto staff from our Student Services team whowill be based in the Higher Education CentreCafé and Foyer Area from 12noon till 1pm.
Staff from our Finance Team will also beon hand to talk about Higher EducationFinance (covering university level feesand student support grants and loans).

Subject area talksFollowing the welcome talk there will be a series of subject talks, information sessions and tours from each of our curriculumareas. The teaching staff will be able to talk through the various modules that make up each course, explain the differencesbetween the levels of each degree and tell you more about the entry requirements, practical activities and typical careeropportunities in that area. These start at 11am in the following rooms:

These monthly events offer prospectivestudents a great introduction to UniversityCentre Myerscough. They provide an idealopportunity to learn more about the subjectswe offer, the wide range of courses that areavailable and the exciting career routes opento our students. Course tutors are availablethroughout the morning for group talks andindividual discussions, as are staff from ourAdmissions and Guidance teams, InclusiveLearning team, Accommodation, Careers andStudent Finance teams.
If the weather is nice I encourage you to havea walk around the campus and take a look atthe extensive range of facilities available toour students.
