Rhythms,intervals,motifs,phrases,melodies,chordsandchordprogressions,counterpoint,modulation,form,thoroughlistening,playing,singing,andwriting.

Beyondacquiringskillsandknowledge,studentswillexperiencedifferentprocessesoflearningandpracticingtobebetterpreparedfortheirfuturemusictheorycoursesandprofessionalcareers.Studentswillalsobeencouragedtorelatecontenttotheirpersonalmusicalexperiencesandtoworkinacooperativeatmosphere.

Thestudentsshould:

Eachclassmissedwithoutadocumentedreasonwilldeduct20%ofthetotalattendancegrade(2%ofthefinalgrade).Iftheattendancegradereaches0thestudentautomaticallyreceivesanEgrade(failure).
