PRESENTATION OF MATH GAME CREATED BY PUPILS
Part 1 – Development of the game• In September 2016 our team started to think
about the game for our meeting in Bulgaria.• We did not know what to do.• We decided to ask for help pupils from class 8.A• They made four groups and each was working on
ideas about their game. In each group was a member of our team.
• After half an hour each team presented their ideas to the rest of our class.
• Next week we involved class 8.B • 40 pupils worked on this task.

Part 2 – Our game Monkey Quest Playing board
Monkey Quest Special Trick Fields:
LADDER
A player can cross the LADDER from both sides. This trick helps to pick more fruit. When the player gets to the last field, he waits for the end of the game. If he gets back to the START, he turns and wait for the next round to throw the dice to continue picking fruit.
Special tricks: KNIFE and NET
KNIFE
NET
If a player finishes on a KNIFE field, he gets a knife. When a player finishes on a NET field, he uses the knife card to cut through the net, returns the card and plays from the following field in
the next round. If the player does not have the knife, he does not play in the next round.
Monkey Quest Bad Man trick
BAD MAN
If a player finishes on a field BAD MAN, he must give him all his fruit. In game 2 version the players have special abilities to deal with the BAD MAN and other tricks.
Monkey Quest RulesGame 1
• Parts of the game: a dice, a playing board, playing pieces
• Players: 3 - 5 players, age 6+• Goal: to pick fruit and count points• Game: - In the beginning the players choose the length of the
round (15´, 20´, 30´, until someone reaches the end)- Each player places his playing piece on the START- Players take turn in throwing the dice and moving their
piece. If they finish on a field with an arrow, they continue in its direction in the next round.
- There are various special tricks in the game
