Cetinje has 16,757 inhabitants, of which 83% live in urban and 17% in rural areas.
The territory of Cetinje covers an area of Skadar Lake to Lovćena and Boka Bay .
Location of Cetinje determined the coordinates 18 ˚ 58 'and 19 ˚ 10' east longitude and 42 ˚ 16
'and 42 ˚ 43' north latitude.The northwest-southeast length of the territory of the Royal Capital is 56km. The average width
of northeast-southwest ranges from 18 to 20 km.Surface area is 910 km2 (6.6% of above), of which
878.8 km2 land disposal on the surface of lakes and Rijaka Crnojevića 22.7 km2 (water level at a
height of 6.5 meters).Capital Cetinje is bordered by the capital
Podgorica and the municipalities of Bar, Budva, Tivat, Kotor, Niksic and Danilovgrad.
