Middletown High Schools offer a diversified curriculum, a wide range of athletic and co-curricular activities and individualized student learning opportunities. The programs provide all students with a comprehensive education that promotes high levels of personal achievement and academic success.
PSAT Results
• All sophomore and juniors take the PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) in October.
• Many qualify to compete for National Merit Scholarships. • Seven Middletown students were recognized as Commended
Scholars. (Top 3% of the 1.5 million participants) • One was a Semi-Finalist (Top 1% of the 1.5 million
participants)• One was a National Merit Scholar. (Top 8000 participants)
SAT Results
• Nearly 90% of our junior and senior students take the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) or the ACT (American College Testing) for college admissions.
• Our top performing students score well above the state average on the SATs and qualify for academic and merit based scholarships.
• Standardized test data are analyzed by performance within the school and as compared to other schools within our District Factor Group (DFG) and across the state.
• Middletown North and South were rated as high performing schools using the state criteria.
