VolTect™ is built into every XP multimeter. VolTect allows theuser to safely detect ac line voltages without contacting the circuit.A non-contact voltage sensor is integrated into the top surface of every XP multimeter. A front panel button activates the sensor –when the top of the meter is held near an active ac line, a beeperand LED are activated notifying the user of the presence of voltage.
