FROM THE POETRY COLLECTION, DONDE LA LUZ ES VIOLETA, WHERE THE LIGHT IS VIOLET
Fuertes versos me unen a ti.

WIND ON MY FACE
Show me the syllables that make water vibrate, take me to the profundities of your pages tell me the secrets that exist between strophes.
Quasimodo, talk to me about the land that saw your birth, about your sun, your mountains, your infi nite blue.
Nourish with your verses the wild creative hands, share a sunset over the ocean with me.
Open the book and experiencepossibilities. Now you’re mine, Quasimodo, now you’re mine.
I hear your verses through years of distance, another era, another city, a different voice.
Strong verses bind me to you.
The pages slowly fl ood my sight, your canvas, linguistic currents, your colors and wind on my face, and I follow you in silencewith my gaze facing that land of sun and poetry.

HUMO

SMOKE Smoke is her body. Water vapor returning to the sea. Night of liquid obsidianwith memories comingled in the dense waves of jade. The song of nocturnal birds guides her Venus in the sky calls her it’s late for her now, it’s late. She continues her endless journey through the lagoon. She fi nds no exit she fi nds no open sea. The fi sh in the chasm call her. Threads of fi re attract her. Her body tonight is smoke. She discovers a scarlet blaze there, in the open sea. Venus guides her calmly. Translucent seaweed sprouts from the water, it twists in her black hair. Her voice enchants it in an instant the smoke of her body evades it. The sea answers with its gruff roar. It yearns for her. Full moon in the abyss. Lunar force bathes her. She sails with a straight back where moonbeams sgraffi to her.
