Message from the Pro Vice-Chancellor Business and Vice-President It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2012 RMIT Business Prize Giving Ceremony. Tonight RMIT University and the broader community will celebrate the outstanding achievements of our business students for the 2011 academic year.
Congratulations to our prize winners for their exceptional accomplishments across a range of business disciplines. Their hard work and determination has contributed to their future success and to the strong reputation that RMIT holds among the business community. With creative vision and an entrepreneurial spirit, the students who are recognised tonight are destined to be our leaders of the future.
I would also like to congratulate our recent graduates who are already using their skills and competencies in the world of business or undertaking further study. I wish them all the best in their chosen careers and encourage them to stay in touch. As RMIT alumni they remain part of the RMIT story and we are always pleased to hear about their ongoing achievements.
Tonight is also an opportunity to recognise the exceptional support that the College receives from industry, government and the wider community. I would like to thank the businesses, organisations, and professional bodies for their longstanding, generous commitment towards acknowledging the extraordinary efforts of our business students and for the many opportunities they offer our students through work integrated learning.
