2019 Annual Report
Medicine for the world.
A message from our President and CEO, and Board Chairman
Since 1954, MAP International has been on a mission to bring life-changing medicines and
hope to a world desperately in need of both.
Looking back on 2019—a year in which we celebrated our 65th anniversary—we can see
how God continues to guide and shape our work. With His help, MAP reached more than 13
million people—many of whom were children—in 98 countries, delivering more than $553
million dollars’ worth of essential medicines and healthcare supplies.
As you read through this annual report, you will be able to see the highlights of what has
been accomplished this past year. You will also see that we are dedicated to financial
transparency and sound stewardship of the resources which are entrusted to our care.
What the numbers don’t tell is how MAP is a beacon of hope for millions who are suffering—whether that is the anguished parent who sheds tears of happiness when her child receives
lifesaving antibiotics or the gratitude of a family left devastated by a hurricane.
None of this would have been possible without our dedicated partners, donors, staff and
volunteers who worked tirelessly to enable MAP to deliver critically needed medicines and
healthcare supplies to some of the world’s most vulnerable people when they needed it the
most. With God’s continued guidance, we will continue to impact—and save—more lives in
the next 65 years.
With thanks and gratitude,

I was impressed at seeing the work they do. Their passion makes them reach millions of people worldwide by providing medicines and other vital needs for the poor. In all they do, they glorify Jesus and strive to follow His example to care for the sick and less fortunate…If you wish to donate, don’t doubt that it will be used for a great cause.
