Are you looking to get fitter or take upsomething new? If so, maybe you should give JuJutsu (also known as Jujitsu) a try.

Ju Jutsu, which is a Japanese practical self-protection system, canprovide you with care, fitness and self-discipline, as well as much-neededprotection.

The ‘original mixed martial art’ is suitable for all ages and abilities andthere are classes being run every Saturday at Droitwich Leisure Centre,which are tailor-made for first-timers.

Sessions for those aged 5 and 3/4 to nine-years-old run from 10am to11am.

Youngsters aged ten and above can go along between 11am and12midday.

Also on Saturday, classes for adult beginners take place between 2pmand 3pm.

Long-serving experienced coach Jonathan Sharpe said: "Jutsu is simplythe only well rounded self-protection system there is, teachingparticipants striking, throwing, joint-locking, restraint and ground skillsfor self protection and various sporting formats."

He said he would like to thank all students and parents, past andpresent, for their amazing support, Association head Ross Iannoccaro,Droitwich Leisure Centre, Director Tim Kirkham, Rob and Sandra,managers, Mr Paul Butterworth , Mr Ian Perks andMr Matthew Godfrey for their help and advisewhere relevant.

Jonathan also said he was looking forward towelcoming new members to the Ju Jutsu classes.

And, with the first session being offered for free,there is no excuse not to give Ju Jutsu a go!
