The GC GSP Club Show Specialty will be at the Houston World Series of Dog Shows on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. **************************************** Annual Desnaking event will be Aug 4 and 5th. We will need volunteers for both days. If interested in volunteering, please email Gene Moseley at [email protected]. **************************************** The GC GSP Club Hunt Test will be on Nov 24 and 25th. We look forward to everyone putting this date on your calendar to attend! **************************************** Club still needs a Club secretary. The nominating committee did not get any acceptances. This is your Club, please step up & volunteer for this position on the Board **************************************** Scott & Lorraine Sloan have offered their home for the 2018 Christmas party. Their home is located in the Tx 99 & Westpark area. Scheduled for December 8. **************************************** Christina Cantu has volunteered to be the Hunt Test Chair, Thanks Christina. She will be needing members for volunteering contact Christina at [email protected] **************************************** This bylaw change will be voted on at the June meeting regarding member applications: Applicant is required to attend 1 activity & a meeting in which the applicant may be voted into membership. If there is no quorum at the meeting in which the applicant can be voted into membership, the BOD will then vote on the application.
Uodibar Kennel Pointing Dog 101
Uodibar University will be conducting a seminar for pointing dog development and training. This seminar is designed for the novice dog owner who is seeking knowledge on the “do’s and don’ts” of developing a pointing dog from puppy to competent hunting companion. John Rabidou is an accomplished bird dog trainer with over 50 years of training experience. He will share his wealth of knowledge through explanation and demonstration as he walks you through the life cycle of the pointing dog.
When: June 2 & 3 Where: Uodibar Kennel, 510 CR 343, Hondo, Texas
Time: Saturday June 2 8:00am - 5pm Sunday June 3 8:00am - 3pm
Cost: $150.00 per person $250.00 per couple
