COURSE AIMSThe SNEAM program offers3 specializations:• SNEAM / ANWM - Advanced NuclearWaste Management specializes innuclear waste management. It developsfundamental scientific, technical andindustrial knowledge, has a particularfocus on the backend of the nuclear fuelcycle, nuclear waste management, long-term safety and environmental impactassessment and provides strong insightson dismantlement and decommissioningof nuclear installations.
• SNEAM / NEPIA - Nuclear EnergyProduction & Industrial Applicationsspecializes in nuclear sciencesapplications including energy production(power reactors) and industrial
applications (particle beam technology,instrumentation…). A particular focus isput on the safety and radioprotection, tobe considered in the management of alarge project in this field.
• SNEAM / NUTMA - NUclearTechnologies for Medical Applications.This specialty develops fundamentalscientific, technical and industrialknowledge of the different nucleartechnologies used in the medical field. Ithas a particular focus on the safety andradioprotection, to be considered in themanagement of a large project in thisfield.

LOCATIONThe campus is located in Nantes, France’ssixth-largest city and capital of the third-largest industrial region. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSThis Joint Master is open to applicantswith at least a scientific Bachelor ofScience degree in a scientific disciplinesuch as Nuclear, Chemistry, Physics,Chemistry, Electrical, Mechanical,Chemical, Energy, Environmental orCivil Engineering.Possible admission directly in the 2nd yearfor students who have a 4-year Bachelordegree or first year of Master in NuclearEngineering or Nuclear Physics.
