Hallowe’en Bat
1) Begin with a stretched bird base, colour out. Rabbit ear one point up and squash.
3) Pull out the hidden flaps.
4) Mountain Fold.
2) Valley fold the point down.
5) Mountain fold flaps behind again.
Martin Smith 28th October 20036) Turn over and upside down. Bisecting angles indicated, fold triangular flap down.
9) Completed. Note the shoulders. Mountain fold head under so it lies roughly perpendicular to the wings and the ears still stand up.
Raaaa!
7) Completed. Inside reverse fold the wings down to meet the tail.
10) Head only shown. Fold head in half, raising the nose a little.
8) Turn over and upside down. Fold the flaps so the ears stand up a little and inside reverse fold the wings down.

12) Open out the pockets on the wings. Reshape head, nose and wings to complete the model.
