01 Eco senior housing year: 2014type: semester projectlocation: Gdańsk, Poland
The nursing home has been divided into four houses and single-storey part of the service on the roof of which, there is a communal garden. With this treatment the whole volume better fits in your neighborhood and urban tissue. The main objective was to create such a space, which promotes the formation of social ties among residents as well as surrounding neighbors. In strict neigbourhood of nursing home has been proposed to construct a neighborhood community center. So that the integration between the generation of young people and the elderly is maintained. Those two functions has been connected with public square.

02 Split Houseyear: 2013type: semester projectlocation: Gdańsk, Poland
Main idea of this project was to create a place to live for modern community. Architecture rather than impose one concrete way of living together, creates possibilities of it. Because of neighbourhood of main streets, instead of the outside, all main windows and terraces are facing the courtyard which reinforces the impression of being together, in the same time intimacy of every habitant is maintained by appropriate setting of windows. Shared terraces are creating an opportunity to meet with neigh-bours, also fact that whole site is devoid of any kind of barriers transforms the courtyard into a continu-ous passage, opened not only for habitanxts but also for strangers, which connects it with urban space of Gdańsk.

03 Hideout houseyear: 2012type: semester projectlocation: Gdańsk, Poland
A single family house, designed for a married couple of actors supposed to be place to hide from professional life on stage. Also, what was very important in this site, the volume of building should be hidden and not dominate the surrounding landscape. For those reasons house was partly buried in the slope and it’s height was adjusted to provide view from behinds of it.

04 Urban college in Ivry-sur-Seine year: 2014type: semester projectlocation: Ivry-sur-Seine, France
This project was createf during international exchange program- Erasmus at Ecole d’Architecture Paris- Val de Seine in France. Site of this project is located in a peripheric town of Paris- Ivry sur Seine. College is dedicated to over 300 students and employees. It contains many specific functions, as arts, music, or technology classrooms, also media-library, cantine and others. Functional division is very clear and intuitive. It is also clearly seen from outsides of building thanks to the code used xon the facade. Every specific function has its own set of features starting from used materials, ending on proportions between solid and glazed surface. These treatments make this building readable even for people who are not familiar to it. Inside of building, net of shared spaces creates many opportunities to meet and consequently contributes to the strengthening of social bonds between students.

green ribbon
Workshop organized by Center of Design in Gdynia aimed to improve quality of urban spaces in district of Dąbrowa in Gdynia, which is situated on the outskirts of the city. Main concept of this refurbishment was to eliminate all obstacles in urban space that prevent the use of it to disabled people, in line with the idea “Design for All”. Also our target was to make it more attractive and consistent. Our group was focused on non-existing heart of this district. Our goal was to design space near central communication point of Dąbrowa. Our proposition containted also idea of creating connection between different parts of this district by binding it with “green ribbon”.

08 Phillips / artistic illuminationyear: 2014type: workshoplocation: Elbląg, Poland
Our illumination was created in gallery "EL" in Elbląg, Poland, which is a space to contemplate contemporary art, made in former gothic church. This localisation was very meaningful for my group while designing our work. We've noticed that contemporary nature of this place and its exhibiting nature is not well seen from the entrance, where we can only admire old church instead of works of art who are visible after while. That's why we decided to find contemporary art on walls of church and emphasize it. We put intensive green light on central square of old relief to recall piece of art of neoplasticists and arranged rescaled shadows of chairs to make impression of an audience. Whole light composition was made in com-pletely darkness, so that our illumination was intensified by mysthique ambience of old church.
