marinecorpsmustang.org/mestengo 2 MCMA Mestengo
Greetings Fellow Mustangs:
I am Ernest E. Johnson, newly elected as
president of the Marine Corps Mustang
Association, Inc. I take this position seri-
ously and accept the challenges therein.
On behalf of the members, Officers and
Directors of the Association, I extend a
hearty thanks to George W. Fritschi, for
his dedication and commitment as our past
president. Thank you, George.
We commend Roger Speeg and Dwayne Dupeire for their tire-
less performance as Business Manager and Deputy Business Manager,
also Raymond Kunkle who kept our financial books.
Thanks also to Timothy A. Cook, Secretary and John F. Darra-
cott, Treasurer for taking on these positions during the next three years.
The Association is privileged to have Ronald R. Fisher serving
as Vice-President; Joseph F. Featherston, Eddie S. Ray and Edward
M. Russell serving on the Board of Directors. Our newly elected Direc-
tors are Mark C. Blaydes, Daniel J. McGee, Herbert S. Smith, Paul A.
Sotomayor, Richard J. Sullivan, and Charles B. Whitehurst. We wel-
come Antonio J. Cerrillo, Business Manager.
The agenda during my tenure is to keep things simple “KIS” the
last “S” as we know it is mute…
Encourage membership involvement and participation; meshing the
old guard with the new guard and including the Women Mustangs
Exposure of the Association via Social Media; Facebook, LinkedIn,
TogetherWeStand
