For the safety and welfare of the animals, the Zoo has a no feeding policy. All of the animals are on nutritionally balanced diets.
Please do not throw any coins or other objects into animal exhibits and pools. The metal in coins is poisonous to the animals and can kill them.
If your visit includes an ADA certified service animal, we ask that you stop at the Administration Office upon your arrival.
Remember to wash your hands after petting any animal.
The magnificent animals in the Zoo are wild and possess all their natural instincts. You are a guest in their home; please be respectful. (It is a violation of County Ordinance to cross barriers in attempt to contact animals.)
The Milwaukee County Zoo does not allow the open or concealed carry of any weapons in any Zoo building or during any posted special event on Zoo grounds.*
The Milwaukee County Zoo reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken on Zoo grounds, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. The Zoo may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced.
