This pistol is provided with stud to permit single shotfiring. II is then necessary to pull back the slide for eachshot. With the stud in its normal position, the pistolfires automatically.
DISMANTLING
Place a point in thehole in the disman-tling stud, press andraise the stud.
WORKING
1° SAFETIES
The p i s lo l has 2 safeties :- one is the o r d i n a r y side safety,- the other is automatic.
The automatic safely locks the mechanism when themagazine is removed from the pistol.
2° MAGAZINE
The capacity of the magazine is of 9 cartridges.When loading the magazine, care should he taken to
see that the cartridges are correctly placed, so lhat therim of each cartridge is in front of the rim of the cartridgeunderneath.
Place the magazine in the pistol.Draw the slide hackwarrts and allow it to jump
forward quickly.Notice if the slide is completely forward.
3" UNLOADING
a) Remove the magazine liy pressing on the magazinecatch at the base of the grip.
b) Draw the slide sharply lo the rear so as toremove the cartridge which may he in the chamber.
IMPORTANT
Well oil the inside of the chamber before shooting.Glean the chamber after every 2 magazines with an oilymop. Clean the barrel and the slide after use.
REASSEMBLING
I" Replace the recoilspring, the pointedend of the gu idetowards the breech
2° Hold the pistol in the left hand,draw the slide backwards to itsfull extent.
2° Replace the slide taking care thatthe end of the recoil spring fits in itcorrectly. Draw the slide back-wards and lower it to its originalhorizontal position and allow it toslide forward.
3° Now raise the slideand allow it to moveforward and becomedisengaged.
3° Press down the dis-mantling stud.
