“People aren’t judging you
like you think they are!”
— Ally
5H’s message to M Girls:
“You can feel confidentin a bathing suit!”
Lauren’s tip“Be confident, always,” Lau-ren says of her life motto.
M 51
It’s the moment that some girls dread — revealing your bathing suit for the first time while hang-
ing out at a pool party or the beach. Thoughts like “Do I look good?” or “What are my friends
thinking?” will most likely be running
through your head. While it’s normal to feel insecure in your suit, the Fifth Harmony ladies want only one thought to be running through M Girls’ minds this summer: “Wow, I look rockin’ in this bikini!” So how do you get there? For 5H, the first step is not beating yourself down. ”You have to keep in mind that everybody has a different body type,” Lauren explains. “You cannot compare yourself.” It’s a sentiment that Ally agrees with 100%. “Learn to accept and love yourself!” she advises. Although her bandmates may be brimming
with confidence now, Dinah Jane remem-bers covering up because she didn’t feel comfortable in her own skin. “I thought you were just supposed to wear a T-shirt and shorts,” she tells M. “That was a bathing suit
for me growing up.” It took some time, but eventually, Dinah Jane and the
other girls learned to accept their bods — flaws and all. “You just need to say, ‘I look so good right now!’” Camila reveals to M. “It’ll start to reflect how you feel. I
think how you feel on the inside reflects the outside.”
Since the summer is supposed to be such a carefree time, it’ll help if you have a relaxed ‘tude about
your bikini bod as well. “Don’t worry — nobody’s as focused on it as you think they are!”” Normani explains. So when you sport your suit in a few weeks, just remember this important message: ”You’re unique and beautiful just the way you are!” Dinah Jane cheers. That’s a mantra we love!

These stars struggled with it, too!
Beach babes Ally and Little Mix’s Perrie showed off their beach bods in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Camila’s plea “You won’t be happy if you’re not happy with who you are,” she says. “Learn to love yourself.”

How these stars learned to love their beach bods.
Zendaya never liked bikinis! When Z hits the beach, she likes to feel comfort-able. “I feel too exposed in a bikini,” she tells M. “I’d rather be in shorts and tank top.” If she does go in the water, she rocks a high-waisted bikini.
Demi had to get used to her body!Growing up, Demi Lovato tried to hide her curves underneath layers of clothing. “I just wanted to be thin,” she recalls. After talking with a therapist, Dem gained confidence and now happily wears a bikini. “I’m happy with my-self,” she shares.
Jennifer fights back! When Jennifer Lawrence was labeled a “fat actress” by Hollywood cast-ing directors, she used the hurtful words to fuel her confidence. “[Call-ing someone fat] should be illegal,” she says. “I’m proud of my body.”
