Suggested Pacing Guide August - June 2020
Comments:
Comments:
- Kindergarten is three weeks off the pacing guide in Math. This means we are currently working on the Number Sense 3 Unit so that students have a solid understanding of part-part-whole in terms of putting together and taking apart as well as story problems, counting to 100, and teen
numbers.
- Kindergarten also has a 2 week unit on “Fractions” teaching ONLY fair share or ½ and whole. This would come after our current number sense unit but before unit 8. Expectations for this unit (unit 7) are that students understand the idea of sharing halves fairly, teaching what a whole verses having to share a whole between two would look like.
After this.. Unit 8 on the March calendar should begin.
