Rowdy’s Back-to-School
Pep Rally Saturday, August 17 at 11 am
Rowdy, mascot for the Dallas Cowboys, is returning to the library to get every-
one excited about the new school year. A meet-and-greet time with Rowdy for
photo ops and autographs will follow the show. Thank you to the Friends of the
Library for sponsoring this event.

Teen Corner: Think Tank is Back
and Better than Ever!
Teens, do you want to have input for library
programs? Do you like hanging out with
other teens? Do you like free snacks?!
Come join us for fun discussion with other
teens and the Teen Librarian, Ms. Suzy!
These meetings will be once a month start-
ing in August, fun events will follow each
meeting! Saturdays: August 17, September
14, Oct. 12 at 2 pm.
Children’s Programs
Music and Movement Storytime: Tues-
days, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 10:15 to
11 am Book, interactive songs, parachute, and
lights-out dance party. Recommended for ages
2-4.
Bouncing Babies: Fridays from 10:30 to 11
am and 1:30 to 2 pm. Songs, bounces, book,
and fingerplays. Recommended for babies who
have not yet turned two.
For the month of September, Music & Move-
ment Storytime will take a break will be re-placed by MEGA Brain Builders + Simply Sto-
ries and Bouncing Babies will be replaced by
Sensory Enrichment Freeplay.
Read to a Furry Friend: 1st and
3rd Saturday of each month from
2:30 to 3:30 pm and 1st and 3rd
Wednesday of each month from
5:30-6:30
All About Scouting
Wednesday, August 14 from
11 am to 1 pm for all ages.
Activities, crafts, and a pretend
campsite will be set up in the
program room for this come-
and-go program for anyone interested in
learning more about scouting programs.
