Leaside Garden Society
Community Plantings/Outreach
Volunteers dig in and organize public planting and maintenance programs at a number of gardens: Toronto Rehabilitation Institute-Lyndhurst Centre, Fr. Caulfield Parkette, the gardens of the Leaside Public Library and Trace Manes Park. The city supplies most of the materials, but these beautiful gardens are planted and maintained by volunteers from the Leaside Garden Society.
In 2011, the Society donated a beautiful park bench, situated outside the entrance to the Leaside Public Library, commemorating our 25 years of community involvement.
