Mad Hatter's Party16 September 2008, 02:32PMLondon's avant garde fashion set descended upon their Mecca, Dover Street Market, for the launch of a new collaborative fragrance between über milliner Stephen Jones and Comme Des Garcons.
On hand to have a whiff of the new scent were illustrator Daisy de Villeneuve and Daisy Bates, who both arrived with their mothers as their dates. And it certainy was a family affair - Comme Des Garcons designer Rei Kawakubo's husband (and Dover Street Market top man) Adrian Joffe sang the fragrance's praises while enjoying his third Belvedere Vodka cocktail.
Among the well-hatted crowd we spotted jewellery designer Philippa Holland with her whippet, VOGUE.COM blog stars Lara Bohnic and Virginia Bates, designer Rifat Ozbek and London's own burlesque glamour queen Immodesty Blaize sipping on Moet et Chandon.Neel
The Burberry Beat04 December 2007, 08:36AMSEE ALL THE EXCLUSIVE PARTY PHOTOS HEREBURBERRY launched its new fragrance, The Beat, in suitably rock 'n roll style at hip Camden club Koko last night, as Agyness Deyn and Christopher Bailey - both looking polished in the label's designs - hosted a Champagne-fuelled party that went on until the early hours. Guests - including Gareth Pugh, Jasmine Guinness, Daisy Lowe, Henry Holland, Will Young and all the BoomBox party kids - were greeted by a 12-foot Deyn dancing on three big screens around the dancefloor, as a chandelier constructed entirely of The Beat bottles sparkled on the ceiling. The uber-model herself worked the room with Bailey while The Fratellis played a four-song set that had the crowd screaming - but there was one guest of honour who was keeping a lower profile. "Not only is there a giant Agyness up there, but all her family are here to see it," Holland - looking striking in his all-gold Burberry jacket - told us. "Her mum got escorted inside and personally introduced to everyone with Christopher - she was even papped as she came in. She was loving it!" (December 4 2007, AM)Leisa Barnett
