HeNe LASERS SELECTION GUIDE
Thorlabs offers a variety of Helium-Neon Lasers with powers from 0.5mW to 35mW as stockitems. Wavelengths of 543, 594, 604, 612, 633, 1150, 1520, and 3390nm are available invarious package styles and with two different output polarizations. The most commonly usedHeNe lasers are at 633nm and have become common components in a variety of applications inboth research and industry. Thorlabs also offers a wavelength selectable HeNe laser that can betuned to 633, 612, 604, 594, or 543nm by adjusting a screw on the back of the unit. This isachieved by incorporating a low loss plasma tube with one sealed Brewster window and anexternal, adjustable Littrow prism all built within the laser’s case.
All Thorlabs HeNe lasers are CE compliant and include separate or integrated power supplies.

Thorlabs offers a line of selectable wavelength, five-color HeNe laser systems that can switchbetween all of the main visible neon laser transitions (543nm, 594nm, 604nm, 612nm, and633nm), making the systems versatile and economical research tools.
The HTPS and HTPS-EC HeNe Lasers incorporate a low-loss plasma tube with onesealed Brewster Window and an external Littrow Prism. By adjusting the angle of theLittrow Prism with micrometer adjustments on the rear panel, the user can selectamong the visible neon laser transitions. A power supply is housed internally in thelaser, making the unit completely self-contained. Choose the HTPS for 110Voperation and the HTPS-EC for 230V operation.

The C1503 is a kinematic cylindrical lasermount that provides two axes of precisionangular adjustment. The angular adjustmentsprovide control of the beam point, while thevertical height can be set by moving the unitalong the support post. A series of hardenedchromium steel balls and ball seats form a truekinematic mechanism that works with gravityto provide long-term stability.
The C1502 will accept cylindrical objects ranging from Ø0.56" (14mm) toØ2" (50mm). Each unit comes with one clamping arm; extra arms can bepurchased separately. See the box below.
