SAINT-JEAN-DU-GARD
• This place deserves a special attention in our slideshow.
• It is situated in another « département »: « the Gard », which takes its name from the river that flows there.
• The whole « département was a Roman province before and long after Jesus-Christ, therefore there are many Roman remains in this region.
• The climate is very mild in winter, but very hot in summer; hence a very different vegetation, compared with the one we can see in « Lozère ».
• We invite you to pay a visit to « The Bambouseraie», for sure, the garden of Eden on earth!
