JP Morgan is a world famous company. It is a company that deals with the very risky financial market and no matter how the financial landscape has changed since its foundation it still remains one of the largest banks in the world. It constantly attracts top talent not just in the United States but around the world, including Taiwan. 

Some of our classmates are interested in working in the field of Finance and many would

want to one day work at JP Morgan so we thought it would be interesting to research what

it takes to work there.

JP Morgan is a company that has both the means and position to attract top talent. They

receive thousands of resumés to fill a few spots. It is an extremely competitive field so their

Recruiting and Selection practices are especially important.   They are the foundation to

the success the company garners. Without a successful Recruiting and Selection process

the company is unable to attain success because the talent is not there.

Their Human Resource team must have a well established "Recruiting and Selection"

method to ensure that the best candidates get employed. The process to fill a vacancy

actually starts from within the company. The HR department must make sure the

candidates meet all the requirements specified in the job description and ensure proper

adaptability once employed.

Being a global company it has standardized methods of Recruiting and Selecting. By

looking at the HR practices of JP Morgan Taiwan can give us insight as to how it is done in

other countries.
