As part of the brand relaunch for
my familys store, I developeda new web site that serves as
an extension of our local mar-keting, an e-commerce site for
non-local customers, and aplatform for consignment ven-dor management. Emphasis
is placed on consumable prod-ucts as well as unusual or one
of a kind decorative items.
The site adapts a pre-designedtemplate to save costs. Muchof the copy and product pho-tography not supplied by ven-dors are mine.
Behind the scenes, the web
site and in-store databaseswere linked to prevent oversell-ing online. This is especially
important for the one-of-a-kind
vintage wares that the shopsells. Additionally, I developeda web-based vendor system to
streamline uploading consign-ment vendor inventory to theshops point of sale. It allows
vendors to submit inventory attheir leisure and for shop em-ployees to batch upload items
and to print price tags on a pe-riodic basis. The implementa-tion of both systems has saved
countless hours of data entryand has greatly reduced theopportunity for error.

For a new venture class, my project team, which included two engineers and a lighting contractor, pitched a collaboration
software concept for the design services industry. I initially brainstormed an earlier version of the idea while working in architecture. The final version built upon the insight of each teammember and their experience with design collaboration. The
presentation slides shown below were created by me.

For a branding class, my project team was tasked with recommending a new product for a local rum company and to define
a brand architecture. We chose to take a niche position with an endorsed brand. Calvados was an example product that weproposed fit this strategy. Endorsement is provided by bottle shape, label structure, as well as the American history theme
In addition to work throughout the project I provided all graphics and layout for the presentation slides shown below.

Academic: Conjoint Analysis, Womens Jeans

My market research project team chose to do a conjoint
analysis of womens jeans and to make recommendationson how JCPenney might be able address those customer
segments within their stores.
The result (based on primarily a student sample) were four
segments, fashion focused, casual wearer, value seeker, and comfort prioritizer. Within the stores we proposed im-proving the shopping experience by separating jeans intotwo categories comfort and style. A selection kiosk helps
customers find what they are looking for.
The pictured slides are an excerpt from the presentation
that I designed.
