Good practice- selection of comments
Facilitation skills, creating an open and safe environment, talking with respect and having ordinary lay people at the table as "equal partners" has helped pave the way.
We have developed a "co-production touchstone". The Lay partners are given the task of being the "custodians of the vision".
The key success criteria will be how far the vision gets implemented and the co design has real impact for people who receive services.

Good practice - selection of comments
When partnership working works, it's fantastic but it is often a hard slog to get there and egos and personality clashes can often, frustratingly, get in the way.
Building and maintaining relationships is key as you get far more out of partner projects if you have good relations.
