#INTERVIEW#SCORETHEJOB
Be Yourself
You know when people say "Just be yourself"? It's especially true forinterviews. You have to be yourself, however, the best version ofyourself.
It will it backfire on you if you pretend to know something so theyare impressed.... because if it comes time to use that skill-set youwill be lost. Interviewers also know that most candidates tell whitelies to seem more valuable. Don't fit that profile.
#Tip - The worst thing you can do is oversell yourself; and the secondworst thing you can do is undersell.

Small talk: Use general conversation
M - Mention Yourselfmake sure to find common ground. This isone of the most important parts of anyrelationship. You want to make yourself seemvulnerable enough to offer semi-personalinformation, short stories and things of thatnature.
You have to offer information about yourselfall while making sure to develop an under-standing of the person who is interviewingyou. Remember not to get wrapped up inyourself, as you do not want to come off asa self centered person.

Always make sure to bring their guarddown. Leave the interview talking likeold-friends... it was great to meet you, Ilook forward to speaking to you soon etc.Creating these connections in a shortamount of time requires you to be a goodsocializer, so make sure to work on yourpublic speaking skills. You have to be achameleon, able to shape into whatevertopic of conversation.

the questions are finished, you will need totransition into the post interview conver-sation. This requires prepping yourself forleaving and making sure to let theinterviewer know you had a great timetalking to them. Remember to act like afriend, and don't be afraid to charm them.
When they ask if you have any morequestions at the end of the interview, saysomething like "Sure, when do I start?" witha smile and a handshake. This shows thatyou're not afraid to ask for what you want, and that you're confident you did a goodjob.

In any Job Interview(or social setting)
- CONFIDENCE
Show people that you're sure of yourself, and that you're a leader. You know your strengths and weaknesses, and you accept them. You listen to others openly without having to interject for fear ofthem not accepting your opinion; because you know that every-one is entitled to their own sentiments. You are passive, but youdo not roll over when faced with an obstacle or confrontationalpeople.
- POSITIVITY
Positivity is hands down one of the most important qualities tohave in general. People HATE negativity, don't be a complainer.Understand that things can't always go your way. Sometimesthings go sour but hey, look on the bright side... we live in afirst world country and have clean drinking water. Be gratefuland positive all of the time.
You have to show the fact that you're just another person. You'renot dangerous. I have friends just like you, we're the same.. so wecan be friends too. I'm a normal person and people like me, let'shave a little chat to see if we can find some common ground.
