Rubicon is currently seeking an Environmental Coordinator at the Phoenix Gold Project. The ideal candidate will live in the Red Lake, ON and possess the following:
Academic Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in biology or the environmental sciences. - A minimum of three years’ experience at a working mine or exploration property is preferred.
- Previous employment at a facility where multi-disciplinary monitoring is required will be considered an asset.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Candidate should have knowledge of the basic provincial and federal permitting requirements
for a mining property (e.g. ECA, MMER).
- The position requires physical activities (e.g. water sampling, dam inspecting, etc.) on a weekly basis.
- The candidate should be able to delegate and manage tasks with the environmental technician. - Can communicate effectively with the public and senior management on environmental issues
at the site.
