• Food & Beverage Host: Greet guests, promoting sale of food & beverage. Maintaining accurate records and transactions. Serve food and beverage orders to guests. Ensure all items are recorded and appropriate receipt collected. Assist in daily breakfast buffet set-up and operation, if applicable, ensure all F&Bs items are restocked. Good math skills knowledge of US currency are required. Clean, re-stock, cook, assist
• Park Services Host: Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the entire park. Sweep and pick up trash and other debris from common areas of the facility, power wash equipment, clean underneath rides and around flower beds; wax floors and clean carpets; clean restrooms; clean grease traps, and give directions to guests. Ability to communicate clearly in English. Steel-toed shoes needed
• Students have to be prepared for high and low Park attendance and work as many as possible hours during high peak business and expect low hours during the slow weeks (mid/end of August/beginning of September) of the Park operation!

HOURLY RATE PAY • F&B Host: - $7.75 per regular hour, No OT (seasonal employer) • Park Services Host - $8.00 per reg. hour, No OT (seasonal employer)
AVERAGE # OF HOURS • Average work hours per week for the summer will be 30 per week. Students might seek part time employment outside of Myrtle Waves, however, we will emphasize that Myrtle Waves must be given priority for scheduling, since it is the host employer on the DS-2019 form
• Students have to be prepared for high and low Park attendance. Work the hours during high peak business and expect low hours during the week-end only operation in mid/end of August/beginning of September!

GROOMING CODE • Yes. Facial hair for men should be clean shaven and hair above collar length. Good personal hygiene is a must, including daily shower and bath and use of deodorant. No unnatural hair color, visible tattoos or facial piercing during work
REASONABLE EXPECTATION • Much depends on the economic conditions in the U.S. during your employment. We can make no guarantee of overtime or the availability of second (part-time) jobs. If you find a part time job, please make sure that you prioritize your obligation to your primary employer. Any second or new jobs must be vetted and approved by Janus International, otherwise student might face the program termination
• Students are advised to bring $750 USD to use in spending for food, clothes and other basic necessities for the first month of stay in the United States. The money might also be used for hotel accommodation and transportation to job site (depending on the date of arrival)

COST OF HOUSING • Cost of housing varies based on number of students per room (from 2 to 4 in a room). Please expect to pay between $70.00 and $120.00 per student per week
HOUSING COLLECTION • Collected onsite with one week advance payment in housing. One week (7 days) of rent is due upon arrival
HOUSING DEPOSIT • Yes. Between $100-300 Deposit is required, paid upon on check-in
HOUSING DEPOSIT REFUND • Yes. This deposit will be refunded if you successfully complete your stay at the housing motel for the dates you have agreed and leave your room in the condition it was provided to you. Any damages or unpaid housing charges may be deducted from your deposit amount
