The ARCH is designed to assess client needs, provide
information on how and where to access services, and
emergency needs of homeless adults. It also provides
sleeping areas for homeless people to rest, day or night, and
a Day Resource Center to get out of the elements during the
day.

But due to the increasing amount of homeless around
Austin city..

The facility included a 13,000 gallon rain water collection system involving amanifold tank system which supplies to the users of the building.
RAINWATER COLLECTION
CAST IN-SITU CONCRETE
Tilt-up concrete frames, which were stack-
cast on a very restricted urban site, support
two floors of precast hollow-core panels. The
exposed structural framing system allowed
rapid and economical construction.

structural timber panels with a
subtle white wash, chosen to add
warmth and to age with use.
Large open spaces can
develop a bright and vibrant
environment.
Reflective foil-faced insulation
beneath the external cladding acts
as a filtering for the sunlight rays,
giving the interior a cozy feeling.
The appearance and personality of the building changes
dramatically, depending on the light and weather, and the
time or day or year.
