How Jabborate does it?
Jabborate adds communication capabilities to your Office 365 by integrating
with Cisco Jabber SDK for Web (CUP,CUCM) and WebEx API’s.
It works seamlessly with heterogeneous infrastructures: any combination
of on-site servers, virtual machines, or cloud-based applications.

Jabborate integrates with Internet Explorer via a browser plugin that supports
Group Policy and enterprise deployments. The plugin adds a contact list and
contextual click-to-chat and click-to-call options within Office 365 and
SharePoint Online

Jabber Guest allows users outside the corporate network, be it on mobile or
the public web, to connect securely and safely to anyone inside the network.
By combining Jabborate for internal communications with Jabber Guest for

Technical Overview
The end-user downloads Jabborate and Cisco’s Web Communicator plugins once
and gets access to Presence and Instant Messaging via Unified Presence; and to
Voice, Video, and Conference calls via Unified Communications Manager.
Technical Requirements
Jabborate is based on Jabber SDK for Web by Cisco.
Cloud: Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint Online, Yammer (coming soon)
UC: Cisco Unified Presence, Communications Manager 9.1 and later (on premise or HCS)
Browser/OS: Internet Explorer 8 and later are supported via a browser plugin.
Note: The table above shows support for Cisco’s Web Communicator Plugin.Windows RT 8 and 8.1 are not supported.
