QHSE OBJECTIVES AND TARGETSHSE KPIs and definitions
Quantified goals have been set up to address three safety and three environmental performance indicators (KPIs) and the implementation of its QEOHS Management System.
The Safety Performance Indicators
The safety performance indicators are tracked covering all of Aries Group

LTR = Lost Time Rate: This is equivalent to the number of work-related lost-time accidents per 100 employees
LTR = Number of Lost-Time accidents x No: of employees x 100 Total number of hours worked
TAR = Total Accident Rate : This is equivalent to the total number of work-related accidents (with and without lost time) per 100 employees
TAR= Number of Total accidents x No: of employees x 100 Total number of hours worked

ASR = Accident Severity Rate : This is equivalent to the number of lost work days per 1000 hours worked
ASR= Number of Lost days due to work-related lost-time accidents x 1000 Total number of hours worked

Incentive/motivation and reward program.
The Director/ Manager evaluates each Employee’s performance by site inspections and the records available. Every year the Director announces the best Employee in terms of HSE.
Body Mass Index (BMI) is monitored for all employees on a Monthly basis. For those employees whose BMI is exceeding overweight levels (BMI >28) and if these employees’ weight have increased over the previous month, 50% percentage of their incentives are held back and released only when they reduce their weight by 01 Kg for the next month.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE
1. ERT (EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM) Aries group all -- Administration Manager, HSE officer, Division Managers and CEO Aries Head Office - Administration Manager, HSE officer, Division Managers and administration co-ordinator
Aries Testing Labs – Division Manager, Assistant Manager, co-ordinator and HSE officer
Aries Branch offices- Division Manager, Branch Manager, co-ordinator and HSE officer
General Instructions for an Emergency (Fire, Bomb threat, earth quake)
a. In case of minor fire, fire fighting trained staffs within the concerned area will operate the fire extinguisher & cease the fire than notify the ERT
b. In case of major fire, call ERT for immediate assistance and ring the fire alarm continuously (wherever available) c. ERT (Emergency Response Team) will evaluate the situation and decide for an Emergency evacuation (if required) d. As per situation one of the ERT member shall call on the Fire Department (997) E.ERT shall brief the Fire Department of the situation, and follow their instructions, ERT in consultation with the CEO, shall resume, curtail, ceases all operations& notifies staff
g. on the dismissal of the emergency, the fire alarm will ring three times discontinuously and all staffs move forward to their work place for normal routine work.
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE
In case of Fire (In Aries group offices) a. Detection of smoke or fire evidence, sound building fire alarm immediately, before locating the fire source
b. In case of major fire, call ERT for immediate assistance and ring the fire alarm continuously
c.The ERT shall evacuate the building in accordance with the established Emergency Evacuation plan. As per evacuation plan all office staffs are to be assembled in front of reception gate so called Assembly point (Refer: Aries Emergency Evacuation Map)
d. As per site situation the ERT shall call on the Fire Department (997)
e.The ERT shall advise the Fire Department of the situation, and follow their instructions.
f .The Fire Department shall ensure the termination of emergency.
h. The ERT shall decide to resume, curtail, cease all operations, and notify the staff.
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE
.In case of vehicle Accident:
(All vehicles must have a first aid box and accessories)
a. In case of minor vehicle accident notify administration section and follow instructions
b. In case of major vehicle accident immediately notify Division manager and Administration manager and notify ERT team of your division
c.In case of medical emergencies, immediately send victim to hospital and notify ERT
d.All accident/incident to be recorded in respective forms and forwarded to HSE officer
e.The primary medical reports and health monitoring records needs to be submitted to HSE officer for further perusal
Environmental Emergencies
Emergency guidelines, which track the extremes of an environmental occurrence, are included in this section for the following:
Air pollution (cyclonic wind), Lightening and thunder storm & Heat stroke
Aries group to respond to an environmental problem, then the concerned staff may rely on one of the following contingency responses
a) Evacuation b) Emergency dismissal
ERT consultation with CEO will decide for an emergency dismissal or evacuation.
Note: Aries employee’s working in client’s project sites are following clients Emergency Action Plan (In case of personal medical emergency, they will follow Aries emergency action plan)

Work Medical Emergencies
Aries has developed a plan for action for work accident cause.
Emergency scenarios envisaged are: Allergic Reaction, Animal Bite, Bleeding, Blow to the Head, Broken Bone(s), Burns, Choking, Diabetic Emergencies, Electric Shock, Respiratory Arrest Shock and Toxic Exposure occurred for Aries employee’s in this region
Emergency care is not authorized beyond proper first aid.
First Aid shall be administered by HSE trained staffs available on the spot
Accident /incident immediately notify the ERT of the location
The HSE officer to do investigation for further perusal
Send the injured personals to hospital for a medical emergency.
NOTE: - Incidents are recordable and report made by Concern department Heads to be submitted to HSE officer

First Aid Administration
First aider shall check regularly his/her first aid kit if there is sufficient supplies to be use in case of accident, incident or injuries that might happen during normal working days or even Emergency cases.
First aider shall regularly monitor injured personnel until he/she has fully recovered.First aider shall make a report and have it submitted to HSE and top management.
