IntroductionIntroduction When we saw through the
microscope we same an organism named Phylum Ciliophora. In this experiment we are trying to find out who produces more babies, a paired Ciliophora or a single Ciliophora.
This experiment shall be talking over a period of 5 days.
We are trying to see if our organisms produce asexually or sexually.
Testable Hypothesis and Testable Hypothesis and
HypothesisHypothesis
We predict that the paired Ciliophora will have more offspring's then the single Ciliophora.
Hypothesis
If the paired Ciliophora has more babies then the single Ciliophora then you would see that the paired group has a lot more offspring’s then the single group.
Variable’s in our Variable’s in our ExperimentExperiment
Independent Variable- The Two groups. The asexually group and sexual group.
Dependent Variable- How much babies it produces over 5 days.
Control Variables- We are controlling the two groups, asexually group and sexually group, by putting the asexually group with only one of its kind, and sexually group with 2 of its kind.

Methods Methods
1. Suck up 2 of the same organisms from the pond water. Make sure you only see 2 from microscope.
2. Make sure its only a couple drops, that you sucked up .
3. Pour the drops on the slide
4. Cover the slide up with a slide cover.
Check every once a day, for a period of 5 days.
Record your data
1. Suck up only 1 Cilophora from the pond water. Make sure you only see one when you look through microscope.
2. Add the droplet into a slide
Cover the slide up with a slide cover
Check on it once every 5 days.
Record your data.
Sexually Experiment Asuxually
Controlled Controlled ExperimentExperiment
In this experiment we are putting the two organisms together to see how many babies it will produce.
If we just count how many babies it already has, compared to the ones its going to make, we can see how many babies it can produce in one sitting.
