– yo traje, tú trajiste, él trajo, nosotros trajimos
– **ellos trajeron** decir > dij-
– yo dije, tú dijiste, él dijo, nosotros dijimos
– **ellos dijeron**
The ending for the ellos form is –eron (without the –i-)

It’s like the other irregular preterites, except it makes a spelling change in the él form:– hic- > hiz-

How about a two-for-one?How about a two-for-one?
ser > fu- = ir > fu-– yo fui
– tú fuiste
– él fue

It’s the same form for both verbs, and the endings are not identical to the other irregular preterite verbs.

dar > d- / ver > v-– yo di / yo vi– tú diste / tú viste– él dio / él vio– nosotros dimos / vimos– ellos dieron / vieron
We saw ver in the previous presentation; dar works in the same way, even though it’s an –ar verb.
