2. I 645 3I.P SURVEY
WABIGOON LAKE PROPERTY
TECHNICAL SUMMARY
An IP survey was carried out on part of the Wabigoon Lake Property of Champion Bear Resources Ltd. during the period from February 1st to 10th, 1996. The work was designed to detect the extension under the lake of a postulated shear zone that may have potential to host gold mineralization. Due to lake bottom topography and the presence of iron formation in the lithological sequence, no obvious targets were detected.

PROPERTY, LOCATION AND ACCESS
O The Champion Bear Resources Property consists of fifty four -*(54) claim units in four (4) claims in Zealand Township as follows: Q
K 1149539 K 1149540 K 1162744 K 1162745
They are located near the northeast end of Wabigoon Lake. With the exception of numerous small islands, the property lies entirely under the waters of Wabigoon Lake. Access is best obtained by following the Bonny Bay road which departs southward from Highway 17 at a point approximately 13 kilometres east of Dryden.
WORK PROGRAM
The I. P. Survey was carried out by Quantec I. P. with crews based out of Porcupine Ontario. The grid was established by personnel of Sears, Barry and Associates Ltd. of Wawa, Ontario. All pickets were collected from the ice surface following the survey. Line spacing was 100 metres with pickets at 25 metre intervals. Station 500 North on Line Zero of the grid was established at a point 25 metres west of the most westerly point of a small island in the south-central part of Claim K 1162744.
The total length of the grid including Base and Tielines was 13.0 kms. The baseline was oriented at 090 deg (true) with crosslines at 360 deg. The survey covered 11.2 kilometres of crosslines.
The survey utilized a transmitter with a frequency of 1 hz and a Phoenix IPV-4 receiver. This is a phase IP system. The survey method was a Dipole-Dipole array with an "a" spacing of 25 metres and data collected from n=l to 6. The data plotted on the accompanying profiles is Resistivity (ohm-metres), polarization (milliradians) and Metal Factor (IP/resistivity x 100).
