To acquaint with and enhance competency of all MMG non-rigging personnel and other concerned disciplines in safe rigging and use of associated lifting/riggings tackles in conformance to internationally recognized standards and approved construction practices.

To equip non-rigging personnel with basic techniques in rigging and safe use of associated lifting tackles.

Scope :

Applies to MMG construction employees who are required to use lifting and rigging tackles to perform their work.

Limitations :

This training does not qualify you as a rigger.

Non-rigging personnel cannot manage a lift or give signal to the crane operator.
