Course Policies
1. Behaviour: It is expected that you display respectful behaviour towards your colleagues, teacher, substitute teachers, and all equipment. You need to act SAFELY and RESPONSIBLY
during experiments and activities. If not, you will be removed from the classroom.
2. Absences: It is expected that all classes will be attended unless exceptional circumstances
arise. If you are absent, it is YOUR responsibility to check with me or another student in
order to catch up. If you know that you will be absent in advance, please let me know so
that we can make arrangements.

Objectives (as outlined by the IB Organization)
The objectives for all group 4 subjects reflect those parts of the aims that will be assessed. Wherever appropriate, the assessment will draw upon environmental and technological contexts and identify the social, moral and economic effects of science. It is the intention of all the Diploma Programme experimental science courses that students achieve the following objectives. 1.
