Niger, men and women farmers have formed a group to combat desertification Ethiopia, Farmer Innovators Association has emerged and is managing an LISF to support their experimentation activities. Cambodia is applying the LISF as a revolving loan for innovators that have formed farmer groups. Ghana, farmer innovators and their neighbours has formed a learning group to exchange experiences and to work jointly on innovation development.

Training of facilitators on PID: 18 PID facilitators took part in the IIRR-organised PID Training of Facilitators (ToF) course , hosted by Prolinnova–Ethiopia.
Country-level training workshops/seminars:PROLINNOVA CPs have conducted a total of 20 events related to training, workshops and study visits, which have involved about 200 additional research, extension and NGO staff and 50 farmers.
