Chris Flieller (Artistic Director, In Tandem Theatre) A fixture both on and backstage for more than twenty-five years in Milwaukee, Chris has numerous credits to his name. Acting credits include In Tandem Theatre, Skylight Opera Theatre, Milwaukee
Chamber Theatre, Theatre X, First Stage Children’s Theatre, and the Marcus Center/Milwaukee Repertory. Among his directing credits are WONDER OF THE WORLD, SHAW SHORTS, THE EIGHT: REINDEER MONOLOGUES, HOLIDAY HELL, THE CHOSEN, HOME, EQUUS (in a co-presentation with the UWM undergraduate acting program) OLD WICKED SONGS, and most recently THE NIGHTMARE ROOM for In Tandem. Chris directed ORPHEUS DESCENDING for the UWM Theatre Program and coaches numerous dialect and performance workshops.
Jane Flieller (Director/Managing Director, In Tandem Theatre) A former stage manager, Jane toured nationally with the Great American Children’s Theatre Company and has worked locally for Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, First Stage
Children’s Theatre, Theatre Tesseract, Next Act Theatre and Next Generation Theatre. For several years, Jane was the stage manager for ComedySportz, a position she originated. She co-founded In Tandem Theatre with her husband, Chris, in 1998 and now unleashes her creative energies on all aspects of running a small arts organization. Jane’s directing credits include In Tandem, Whitefish Bay High School, Carroll College, Broadway Baby Dinner Theatre and South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center. She looks forward to directing DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS for Marquette University next fall. As always, she gives thanks to her beloved husband, partner and best friend, Chris, through whom all things are possible.
Tiffany Vance (Annie) Tiffany is thrilled to be back for her third consecutive spring with In Tandem Theatre where her most recent shows include VERONICA’S POSITION and ART OF MURDER. Other Milwaukee theatre work includes First Stage Children’s
Theatre, Milwaukee Shakespeare and Bialystock and Bloom. When not making her yearly jaunt to Milwaukee, Tiffany stays busy teaching Public Speaking at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville
and searching for adventure with her women’s traveling organization, The Tasty Travelers.
Simon Jon Provan (Donald) Simon is thrilled to be back at In Tandem Theatre where he previously performed in HA! and THE GIRL IN THE FRAME. Other credits include lead and supporting roles with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Montana Shakespeare In The
Parks, First Stage Children’s Theatre and former local theatre companies Theatre X, Milwaukee Shakespeare Company, and New American Theatre. Simon also completed internships at American Players Theatre and the Milwaukee Rep. Along with being an active voice-over and on-camera talent, Simon is currently a Professor of Theatre at UW-Sheboygan but is excited to soon be joining the Theatre Department at Wisconsin Lutheran College where he will serve as the Head of Performance. Simon thanks Chris and Jane for their continued support. “To my girls, thank you for being awesomely awesome. To Sarah, thank you for the waltz.” John 15:12
Doug Jarecki (Elliot) In preparation for APARTMENT 3A, Doug has become acutely aware of other number/letter combinations in his life. In fact, just the other day he chuckled as he dipped his B12 vitamins in A1 steak sauce while listening to UB40 and
watching the movie K9 (rated PG13). Why was he chuckling? Simple - K9 is that funny, folks. Doug is not very good at math, but he does know that one Jim Belushi plus one mischievous canine equals comedy gold. Doug thanks Chris and Jane for this fun experience as well as most of the cast. He wont’ thank Tiffany because Doug doesn’t want to give her the satisfaction of knowing he enjoyed working with her.
Gene Schuldt (Dahl) A Chicago native, Gene is a 1976 graduate of the Goodman School of Drama and has appeared in theatres throughout the Midwest. This is Gene’s first time performing at In Tandem and he’s glad to be here! In the Milwaukee area,
he has appeared at Milwaukee Shakespeare, Broadway Baby Dinner Theatre, Sunset Playhouse and Waukesha Civic Theatre, to name a few. In Chicago, he was proud to have appeared in two Jeff Award (Chicago’s “Tony”) winning productions. He played King Duncan in KABUKI MACBETH at Wisdom

Bridge Theatre and that production received three Jeff Awards in 1982 including “Best Play” and he shared the 1979 Best Ensemble Acting Jeff Award with the cast of THE LAST MEETING OF THE KNIGHTS OF THE WHITE MAGNOLIA at Marriott’s Lincolnshire Theatre in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Loren Watson (Sound Design) After a year away guest designing in Raleigh, North Carolina, Loren is delighted to return to his hometown of Milwaukee and to work with In Tandem Theatre again. You might remember him as the board operator and “Mum” in SCROOGE IN ROUGE or from his sound designs for ART OF MURDER and MRS. MANNERLY. Other design credits include DEAD MAN’S CELL PHONE (Pink Banana Theatre Company), FREAKSHOW and NEIGHBORHOOD 3 (Youngblood). A graduate of UWM’s Peck School of the Arts, Loren is proud to be part of this blossoming Midwest culture hub. Hitting the market with design, tech, composition, guitar and electronics, you can expect to “hear” him all over town in the coming years! Visit www.Watsound.com.
Rick Rasmussen (Set Design) Calling Seattle, Washington home, this former resident of Milwaukee travels the Midwest designing for various theatre companies. Rick is happy to be back at In Tandem Theatre, having designed last year’s THE CHOSEN and most
recently, BEAST ON THE MOON. Other recent design projects include GOING TO ST. IVES, THE PAVILION, BIG BOYS, A SLEEPING COUNTRY and SYLVIA (Next Act Theatre); TINTYPES, DAMES AT SEA and GERSHWIN AND FRIENDS (Skylight Music Theatre); WEST SIDE STORY, 9 TO 5 and LEGALLY BLONDE (Fireside Dinner Theatre). He has also worked locally with Renaissance Theatre and Chamber Theatre. Last summer he designed sets and costumes for Emporia State University’s productions of THE LION IN WINTER and PLAZA SUITE.
Colin Gawronski (Lighting Design) Colin is a Milwaukee native and a graduate of UWM’s Theatre Program. He is excited to be back at In Tandem again. Colin has worked with such local companies as Your Mother Dances, UWM Dance,
Danceworks, Next Act Theatre, Chamber Theatre, Carter Productions, Kohl’s Wild Theater, PrideFest Milwaukee and Youngblood. Colin has also worked with the Sacramento Music Circus, the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and with the Indianapolis and Chicago Fringe Festivals. Favorite productions
include SERENDIPITY, MAURITIUS, THRILL ME, THE ADVENTURES OF LITTLE MISFIT, IN A BLACK MOOD, WINTERDANCES 2012, EXONERATED, THE FLU SEASON, GRUESOME PLAYGROUND INJURIES and DEAD MAN’S CELL PHONE. Give Love Always.
Ellen M. Kozak (Costume Design) Ellen studied Fashion Design in college and then discovered the world of theatre design. Her work has taken her from Adam and Eve to speculative visions of the future. Ellen has designed for many theatre companies
across the nation including the Milwaukee Repertory, GeVa Theatre in Rochester, New York, The Intiman in Seattle and Center Stage in Baltimore. Other design projects were for films (Wisconsin Death Trip, Magic Love, Blues Before Sunrise, and The Storm That Follows Me), television (The Trial of the Moke and Fridays), videos (Martin Luther, The Prophet From Palmyra, and Harvest of Joy). Other designs have included conventions, industrials, cruise ships, mascots and photography sessions. Ellen has taught classes and workshops at UW-Milwaukee, Marquette University and the High School of the Arts in Milwaukee, where she has enjoyed seeing the next generation of theatre technicians in the making. “Variety is the spice of life and my life is certainly full of variety!”
Cindy Thomas (Administrative/Marketing Assistant, In Tandem Theatre) Cindy has been with In Tandem Theatre since August of 2008 as Marketing/ Administrative Assistant. She has been involved with the arts, especially music, since she
can remember. After graduating in 1981 from Silver Lake College with a BA in Voice and a minor in music business, Thomas moved to Milwaukee where she managed the print music departments of two local music stores and worked in sales/marketing for a print music publishing company. Cindy has sung and performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Music Under the Stars, Bel Canto Chorus, and is currently a member of the Florentine Opera Chorus.
Miranda Levy (Gallery Curator, In Tandem Theatre’s Tenth Street Gallery) Miranda grew up in Wilton, Wisconsin and joined the military at seventeen. She served eight years in the Army as a construction equipment

Shortly after her tour on Active Duty, she attended UW-Milwaukee where she received her BFA in Photography and Fibers in 2009. Throughout her career as an artist, she has competed in several local juried exhibitions and has shown her work in fashion shows at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
Deanna Strasse (Administrative Intern) Deanna is a graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran College where she studied theatre. In the past, she has worked with a variety of companies including Sunset Playhouse, the Village Players and (of
course!) the Off-Book Players, which she co-founded in 2009. Stay up-to-date with what OBP is doing by visiting us online at offbookplayers.tumblr.com.

DIRECTOR ’S NOTES
When we run from something, we’re really just running to something else. And sometimes the most unlikely things or people are there to help us along the way. Annie Wilson is overwhelmed by the disengagement of those around her, believing she “cares to much in a world that doesn’t give a shit anymore.” So she runs. Anyone who’s felt that the world or their life -- or both -- are out of control, can identify with Annie. Do we cave in, go along with the flow, give up -- or do we push through and try to make the world a better place than we found it? And do we recognize that there are others out there who care, too, and that you don’t have to dance through this crazy world alone.
IN TANDEM NEEDS YOU !
We’ve accomplished a great deal for a small company since we began in 1998 and we are excited about the possibilities the future holds. As a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization, In Tandem Theatre relies on the generosity of our patrons and friends to keep moving forward. Ticket sales, which we try to keep as reasonable as possible, can’t cover the entire costs of producing professional quality theatre. Please consider a tax-deductible donation to our annual campaign and see your contribution go directly toward productions costs (actor and designer salaries; props, costumes, sets, lights; script royalties and marketing). We appreciate your patronage very much and hope you can help us out!
