Teach Explicit Steps
• Texting respectfully…and when to call • CyberBullying • Bullied: Tell them to stop. Stop responding. Get a
screen shot. Tell a trusted adult. • Bully: The internet is full of spotlights …and it can
make mean things look even uglier. When you’re angry, walk away from the spotlight.
• Creepy Online people • Walk away and tell a trusted adult to protect other
kids who aren’t as wise as you. • Scams • Ask who made the site and how does it make
money?
