About Saveetha University - Saveetha University is a fast growing educational institution with a sprawling

About the Department - EEE department of Saveetha School of Engineering offers strong under-graduate
and postgraduate programs with an active research based curriculum to provide the technical education needed
by the Engineers, in the technology driven world. The department provides excellent instructional and educa-
tional opportunities in Engineering, thus providing a holistic technical foundation in an environment of rapid
technological changes. Activities based learning blended with Smart boards and tablets constitute highly inter-
active learning environment. Research publications and Innovative projects develop better professionals for
Engineering World. The faculty members have expertise in Power System, Power Electronics, Renewable En-
ergy, Control System, Energy and Embedded System. The Department has Centre of Excellence lab in Renew-
able Energy and Power Electronics Research lab. The Department has tie up with leading industries and for-
eign Universities.
About Conclave - The purpose of this International Conclave on Renewable Energy Systems and Technology
(ICREST) is to bring together researchers, engineers, manufacturers, practitioners and consumers from all over
the world to share the advances and developments in renewable energy research, applications and opportuni-
ties. The outcome of this conclave will be a contribution to the sustainable development of nations through
science, technology, innovation and public policies. On the behalf of organizing committee, we invite the re-
searchers, academicians, industrialists, stake-holder and General Public to participate in the event.
